Description
McDonnell-Douglas DC-10 SAS – Airfix kit 06179-3, first issued in 1979, Series 6, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1980 to 2005. Later renumbered 6180.
One of the giant wide-body long-range airliners in widespread service is the DC-10. This large kit of the -30 intercontinental version has transfers for SAS, the famous Scandinavian airline which operates five of the type. – Taken from the 17th edition catalogue (1980)
