Description
McDonnell-Douglas DC-9-30 – Airfix kit 03176-5, first issued in 1973, Series 3, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1974 to 2002. Later renumbered 3182.
The American answer to the pioneering BAC One-Eleven, the DC-9 is by far the best-selling short-range twin jet currently in world airline service. Over 700 have been built in six basic versions. KLM insignia is provided in this kit. – Taken from the 11th edition catalogue (1974)
