Description
Ford Lotus Cortina – Airfix kit M8C, first issued in 1965, Series 1, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1964 to 1976. Later renumbered 01408-3, 02418-3.
The Consul Cortina, developed by Lotus, is building up an impressive record of race and rally victories. Equally impressive is this superbly detailed model made from a 53-part kit. – Taken from the 3rd edition catalogue (1964)
