Description
Savoia-Marchetti SM79 – Airfix kit 487, first issued in 1967, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1967 to 2007. Later renumbered 04007-3, 4007.
This, the 'Sparviero', was the most efficient of all Italian bombers in World War II and was developed from the experience of the Spanish Civil War. This 103 part kit is of the torpedo carrying version. – Taken from the 5th edition catalogue (1967)
