"Santa Maria" – Airfix kit 1265, first issued in 1954, Series 1, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1962 to 1982. Later renumbered 65, 01265-8, 61270-2, 61270-5.
Of great historical interest, the "Santa Maria" was the Flagship of Christopher Columbus when he crossed the Atlantic to discover the Continent of America in 1492. – Taken from the 1st edition catalogue (1962)
