Description
B24J Liberator – Airfix kit 586, first issued in 1963, Series 5, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1964 to 1983. Later renumbered 05006-3, 9 05006.
Produced in larger numbers than any other American aircraft the Liberator had a long and distinguished career with the U.S. and Allied forces. 124-part kit making a brilliant model with retractable undercarriage, moving wheels, guns, ailrons, elevators and rudders. Complete with U.S.A. 8th Air Force markings. – Taken from the 3rd edition catalogue (1964)
