Description
The General – Airfix kit 20441, first issued in 1981, Series 20, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1982 to 1984. Later renumbered 9 20441.
Modelled in 1/25th scale this classic 4.4.0 locomotive of the American Civil War period comes complete with a display stand. Features of this masterpiece kit are the operating crosshead and drive rods, full controls and cab fittings, fully detailed Stephenson valve gear, and tender containing simulated wood load. – Taken from the 1982 edition catalogue
