Description
Lesser Spotted Woodpecker – Airfix kit 04832-1, first issued in 1982, Series 4, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1981 to 1984. Later renumbered 9 04832.
Amid the many sounds of a European wood in springtime, the staccato drumming of a woodpecker boring a nest-hole is one of the more distinctive. Of the three main species of woodpwcker, the Lesser Spotted is the smallest and the subject of this lifelike kit.
