Sidewinder – Airfix kit 6444, first issued in 1982, Series 6, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1982 to 1983. Later renumbered 9 06444.
The new Dodge Omni is a frontrunner in the sports coupe field and top of the range is the mighty Sidewinder. Moulded in black, this new kit has a road racing front end with wide body extensions, spoilers, wide tyres and wheels, Recaro seats and a custom turbo charged engine. – Taken from the 1982 edition catalogue
