Ford Mark IV – Airfix kit 6445, first issued in 1982, Series 6, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1982 to 1983. Later renumbered 9 06445.
The most successful American car ever to run in international competition. The famous Mark IV is also one of the best looking model cars. Features a two piece lift-off body displaying the massive mid-engine V8 and fully detailed suspension. Moulded in red with decals for the Le Mans winning car. – Taken from the 1982 edition catalogue
