Description
Lamborghini Countach LP500S – Airfix kit 6404, first issued in 1992, Series 6, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1992 to 1993.
Having first entered production as the LP400 it was later overtaken by the Ferrari Boxer as the world's best supercar. Lamborghini then introduced the full 5 litre engine in the LP500S form so as to regain the former's status. – Taken from the 1992 edition catalogue
