Description
Sikorsky-VFW CH-53G/CH-53D Assault Helicopter – Airfix kit 06004-0, first issued in 1981, Series 6, listed in the Airfix catalogues from 1981 to 1984. Later renumbered 9 06004.
Used by the German Army for assault duties, the huge CH-53G was built under licence in Germany by VFW. It can carry 64 troops and small vehicles. Optional position loading ramp, working rotors, full cockpit detail as well as optional decals for a US Marine Corps Sea Stallion are included.
