Airfix Catalogue description:The tandem two-seater Hawk T1 was the original version of the Hawk used by the RAF, replacing the Gnat in the fast jet training role. Deliveries commenced in November 1976.
The winning scheme from the Airfix "Design a Hawk" competition in 2013 was this design created by 14 year old Heather Morien from Cramlington, Northumberland, shown here, was liked by the judges because of its vibrant and fun use of the RAFBF colours.
