Completely universal in design, the Airfix Footbridge can be enlarged as required with additional kits. One kit provides for a maximum span of 209mm. (8 1/4 inches). Sufficient overhead clearance has been allowed for the bridge to be mounted either at ground level or on platforms. - Taken from the 1st edition catalogue (1962)
