Airfix Catalogue description:Suggesting complete safety in the air "Heron" aircraft are used by the R.A.F. in the Queen's Flight, one of which is frequently flown personally by H.R.H The Duke of Edinburgh. This Airfix kit contains 62 parts and produces a model with a wing span of 11 3/4 inches and features include a retractable undercarriage, passenger steps, and stewardess as well as four passengers. Optional markings are included to finish the model either as a Heron of the Queen's Flight or in the markings of Jersey Airlines. - Taken from the 1st edition catalogue (1962)
