Now in service on cross-channel ferry routes, the huge SRN4 'Mountbatten' hovercraft normally carry 30 cars and over 250 passengers. This fascinating kit has a transparent roof section and side to enable the beautifully detailed interior, complete with seats and cars to be displayed. - Taken from the 7th edition catalogue (1969)
