Sky King

The new "Skyking" Series of Airfix Construction Kits has been introduced to model the huge civilian and military aircraft of to-day and to-morrow. Scaling these giants down to 1/144th of their full size produces models of practical dimensions which retain all the exciting details of the prototype. Their mammoth outlines will still be exactly in proportion as you can see from the illustrations of the Comet and Caravelle, the first two in this new series. The graceful lines of these famous airliners are faithfully reproduced, just like the real thing in fact.

The introduction of the "Skyking" Series is an addition to the Airfix range and will in no way replace the 1/72nd series. Additional kits in the 1/72nd series will continue to be made in the future.
